Bio
Jennifer Hamilton
received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Photography. Her
individual photographic work and collaborative projects with husband
Mark have been exhibited in numerous galleries. While Jennifer enjoys
the personal fulfillment of pursuing fine art projects, she has found
great joy in photographing children since the birth of her own
children. The combination of being a creative individual and a mother
has resulted in a fine art documentary approach to photographing
children. Her candid photographs reflect the uniqueness of personality
rather than posing for the camera. She enjoys working together
with a parent to bring out those qualities and expressions that are
seen daily and beckon to be documented.
Jennifer enjoys the entire creative process working both in the
traditional darkroom making hand-made prints or digitally to bring
images to life. A consumate perfectionist in the darkroom,the technical
skills that have been developed producing prints for gallery
exhibitions extends to all her endeavors. Jennifer enjoys working as a
photographer and seeks to create images that are unique as they are
individual.
